Leslie H. “Les” Wright, 74, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on January 6, 2017. He was born on September 4, 1942 in Indianapolis to Leslie and Mary Wright.

Les loved refereeing high school basketball games, his dog Brody, horse racing, watching football, and playing golf.
He spent many years in management at various injection molding companies. Most recently he enjoyed his work driving for Hancock Senior Services, where he shared his gift of gab.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years Julia; children, Debbie (Darrell) Baker, Cathy (Dean) Wehrle, and Terri (Jim) Klinger, Amber (Rocky) Bartolon, and George (Katherine) Stone; grandchildren, David (Ashley) Fisher, Meagan (Jessie) Fisher, Darren (Heather) Baker, Devin (Jenny) Baker, Danelle (Justin) Bush, Alyssa (Corey) Robertson, Jessica Wehrle, Leah Wehrle, and Nichole Wehrle, Robb (Liz) Fisher, Nikki (Matt DaPont) Hanninen, Kirsten Williams, Zach Thompson, Rocky Bartolon, William Hallgarth-Stone, and Mckayla Stone; 17 great grandchildren; twin brother, Danny (Becky) Wright; sisters, Ann Long and Louise (Ed) Kikendall; his brother-in-law, Jack Murphy; and many other family members and friends. Les was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Gary Wright, Carolyn Wright and Wanda Murphy.

A celebration of his life will be held beginning at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Willow Branch United Methodist Church, 6244 N. Thomas Road, Willow Branch, IN 46186. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Les’ name to the church. Online condolences may be made at www.indianafuneralcare.com.
