Leanne Antonette Ford was born on January 31st, 1954, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Florence Ford (Corbin).
Toni was baptized into the Catholic Church and accepted Christ at an early age.
Toni attended St. Patrick’s Catholic School, Roncalli HS, where she was in the first class to graduate after the merger.
Toni then had two children by Luther Lee Rush.
In September of 1995 she married Robert E. Ford. She went on to adopt 7 more children. She was the glue that held a large family together, and loved each of her children dearly.
Toni enjoyed various jobs throughout her 40 year working career. She worked for the Fed Ex company and Mitsubishi Motors, but loved making and engraving trophies more than all. Toni then became unable to work, yet still continued to care for her children.
Toni was the caretaker for many of her siblings while their mother worked on many occasions growing up. In doing so, she developed a very strong personality and much determination. She was always willing to stand up for anyone in her family, especially her children. One of her favorite activities was cheering (screaming at the top of her lungs) at her children’s sporting events. Everyone knew where she was!
Toni enjoyed traveling, listening to music, casinos, playing cards and caring for her plants. She was a mentor, protector, confidant, and most of all devoted mother. She was always willing to accept anyone into her family. She had an open door policy to anyone needing help. She would literally give someone her last dollar.
Toni departed this life on Friday, the 23 day of September, 2016. Her parents Will and Florence Corbin, brother Christopher Corbin, and sister Katrina Corbin preceded her in death.
Toni was a very humble, strong, dedicated mother, and grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted sons Brandon, Johnl, Bradley, Derrick, James Michael, Christopher Ford; her daughters Stephanie, Joy, and Alexis Ford; daughters-in-law Jennifer and Mary Ford, 18 grandchildren. 15 brothers and sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews.

My sincerest sympathies. We can find comfort when we consider how God provides such comfort. “ Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.”
    2 Corinthians 1:3,4
