Kevin L. Penland, 52, passed away November 24,2015 with his loving wife and family by his side after battling cancer.
He is survived by his beloved wife Brenda of 27 years. Together they had two sons Kyle and Justin.
He was born on November 9.1963 in Asheville NC. to Johnny and Judy Penland.
Preceding him in death his mother Judy Penland. He is also survived by his father Johnny and
sisters Candy smith(Robert) Cathie Moore (Danny) brothers Ken Penland and Carl Penland (Stephanie)
He was a loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Kevin was a veteran of the U.S .Navy and worked for A.B. Plastics /Morrill Motors and Strategy Plastics of SC.
He was very active in the community and will be remembered for his faith, love of family and generosity.
Kevin has touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life ceremony will be Saturday December 5,2015 at Freedom Baptist Church Elm Street
Erwin TN. The family will receive friends between 1and 2 pm with celebration at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Unicoi County
