
Kathryn Kinney, 88, loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away December 31, 2013. Memorial contributions may be directed to Dance Kaleidoscope’s Frank Kinney Memorial Education Fund or Northminster Presbyterian Church.
She graduated from Washington High School and trained to be a nurse at St. Vincent. Kathryn and her husband Frank founded Kinney Dancewear in 1951. They retired to Destin, Florida in 1988.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband in 2003; her parents, Aileen and Clifford Landrey; daughter, Janice Dunkelbarger; and brother, Clifford Dean Landrey.
She is survived by two sons and their families, Mike (Louise), their children, Megan, Beth, and Ben; Jeff (Nannette) and their son, Nathan; son-in-law, Dick Dunkelbarger and children, Julie (Ben) Juffer (great-grandchildren, Sarah and Clayton), Kara (Greg) Juffer (great-grandchildren, Colin and Claire).
A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1660 Kessler Blvd E Dr, Indianapolis, with calling from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
