
Julia Belle Harris the youngest daughter is of James Eugene Harper and Annie Bell Warren Harper, born July 7, 1941 in Siloam, Gerogia. She professed a faith in Christ at an early age.
She moved to Indianapolis, Indiana at a young age, met and married Robert Lee Harris Sr. June 28, 1958. Of this union 3 sons and 2 daughters were born Robert Jr., Beverly, Diane, Earl, and Kenneth.
Julia worked in food service for many years, but retired from St. Vincents Hospital with 26 years of service. There she adopted many of her co-workers as her “children” and helped many of the patients.
She was a longtime member of Fall Creek Pkwy Church of Christ. She loved her church and its members.
Julia had a personality that would light up any room and make you love her immediately. She was funny, loving, caring and selfless.
Her hobbies included watching the Young & the Restless, the Bold & the Beautiful and the Guiding Light while drinking a cup of coffee, cooking, gardening, and occasionally Bingo. She also loved to travel and spending time with her sisters.
Julia Bell Harris departed this life on Sunday, November 12, 2017 and will be greatly missed. Her parents and husband siblings Bill Harper, Magnolia Williams, Curtis Harper, Mary Harper, Lillian Woodruff, Mildred Woodruff, Johnnie Harper, preceded her in death.
She leaves behind to celebrate her life, her daughters: Beverly Clarke and Diane Harris, sons: Robert Harris Jr., Earl Harris (Verviela), and Kenneth Harris, 21 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and sister Florence Williams (W.C. Sr.) and a host of nieces, nephews, family, church family and friends.
