
Born in Winston-Salem, N.C., he received a B.S. Degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, M.S. Degrees from the Chrysler Institute of Engineering and Michigan State University, and did other graduate work at M.I.T.
Mr. Belton was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. As a fighter pilot in the Air Force during World War II he received the D.F.C. with Oak Leaf Cluster and the Air Medal with eleven Oak Leaf Clusters. During the Korean War he was an Experimental Test Pilot at Wright-Patterson AFB.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 15th, 2014 at 2 pm at First Friends Meeting, 3030 E Kessler Blvd East Dr., Indianapolis.
