John Richard “Rick” Dye, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 11th, 2017.

He was born in Indianapolis on February 25, 1960 to the late Sylvia Sue Dye and Richard Eugene Dye. Rick graduated from Broad Ripple High School and received a degree from Fortis College for HVAC.

Rick was a man of many different trades in his life; he enjoyed life very much and loved his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his love, girlfriend Robin Maze; son, Tristan Micheal (Dye) Tieman; daughter, Sarah Dye and her husband, Doug Mackey; two grandchildren, Thuja and Talon Mackey; and his sister Debra White.

The family would like to invite all Rick’s friends to a joint Celebration of his and his brother Pat’s Lives on Sunday, November 5th from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Home of the Gilmore’s, 1737 W. 74th Place, Indianapolis.
