John enjoyed numerous sports activities including water skiing, snow skiing and most of all fishing. Whether it be a pond in a middle of a corn field, fishing with daughter Nicole at a friend’s back yard pond or fishing in the Canadian wilderness with his buddies from the bowling group, he was always excited to catch “the big one”. John also enjoyed tinkering with cars. If you didn’t know where he was, you could always find him working on a car in the garage.

Johnny will be greatly missed. He suffered a long time, but kept his sense of humor. He is my cousin on my Mother’s side. He was just 9 days younger than me. He was a nice guy!!! And, very handsome!!! Looked like his Dad. We never spent very much time together, but when we did, he was always extremely nice and considerate… and fun! I wish he could have stayed longer to enjoy his daughter and grandchildren more… but I’m sure the time they had together is unforgettable.
