John D. Rottinghaus, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 17, 2018. He was born on December 27, 1943 and spent his younger years in Brookville, Indiana. His early education was at St. Michael’s Catholic School and graduated from Brookville High School. He is a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his wife Susan; children Randy (Jamie), Bryan (Cindi), and Richie (Amy) Rottinghaus; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; step-children Angela Cattet and William Franklin; 5 step-grandchildren; and siblings Donna Cunningham, Tom (Angie) Rottinghaus, and Dan (Paula) Rottinghaus.
A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at St. Roch Catholic Church at 8:15 am. A Celebration of Life is to follow at a later date.
The family has asked for donations to be made to Indianapolis Care and Control in John’s memory.
John was dearly loved by family members and neighbors; he will be deeply missed.
