A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 10th at 2:00p.m., Linwood Christian Church, 4424 E. Michigan Street, Indianapolis, 46201.
Bud was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his wife, family and grandchildren. Always sharing with them his love for life. Bud was a faithful husband to his wife, and to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which both were his strength and rock through his life.
Linwood Christian Church was Bud’s second home, enjoying time with so many dear friends. Another caring family in which he could share his love for life. Given the gift of a beautiful singing voice, Bud loved being a part of the church choir. For 29 years he was a member of the gospel group ‘The Messengers Trio’ which performed concerts throughout state, created an album, and had a television guest appearance.
Bud had the innate ability to bring some form of joy to every person he met. Whether it was his smile that brightened the room, his laughter that was contagious, or his warm inviting hugs, Bud had a way of making you feel special. And though we are saddened to lose such a bright light in our lives, we know how blessed we have been, and that he is still loving us from heaven above.
