Jerry David Koett, 77, of Indianapolis died at 12:11 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019, from complications of pneumonia and a collapsed lung.
Jerry was born June 18, 1942, in Indianapolis, Indiana and was a lifelong area resident. He married the love of his life, Phyllis on November 1, 1969. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather. Jerry worked as a Printer by trade, and proudly served his country in the United States Army from ’61 – ’64.
He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Phyllis Koett, Indianapolis; his favorite brother, James Koett, Indianapolis; three boys, Brian (Tracy), Lago Vista, TX, Kevin, Indianapolis, and Dave, Brownsburg; four grandchildren, Cory, Taylor, Layla, and Kamryn; nephew, Karl and niece, Karis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur O. and Frances E. Koett.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, June 24, with the memorial service at 11 a.m. at Connection Pointe Christian Church (The Pointe – Door #10), 1800 N. Green St., Brownsburg, IN 46112. Shane Christopher will officiate.
