Jean Davis, a long-time resident of Danville, died Tuesday, November 7th. She was 83.
A long-time professional in the legal field, Jean worked as a court reporter and was the proud owner of Jean Davis Reporting.
Jean was a member of Danville Christian Church and fulfilled many jobs within the congregation during her life. She was also an active member of the community and won various community awards over the years.
She was an avid Pacers and Colts fan, but her most cherished moments were traveling to watch her grandchildren and great-grandchildren on the athletic field. She was truly their #1 fan and hardly ever missed a game.
She was a servant of God and beloved by all and was the most wonderful mother and grandmother.
Jean had two daughters, Sherry Scott and Dianne Davis; a sister, Joyce Humphress; and is also survived by eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is finally home.
There will be a calling Saturday, November 11th from 10am to 12pm at the Danville Christian Church, and a Celebration of Life service immediately following at 12:00 p.m.
