
Jason Paul Shoulders, 41, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 3, 2017. Jason was born June 21, 1975 in Lancaster, Pa, grew up in Speedway, IN and Waukegan, IL, and then spent most of his adult life in Bloomington and Indianapolis. He is survived by his parents, David and Ruth Shoulders, brother, Michael, sister-in-law, Charlotte, and his two nephews, Sam and Nate.
Jason graduated from Waukegan High School, attended Southern Illinois University, and was an accomplished chef, working in some of the best restaurants in Indiana. He loved books, sci-fi fantasy shows, and Legos. He loved his time at Waycross Camp and the relationships he made there. Jason was a loving son and brother, a beloved uncle, and a wonderful friend. He was well-known for his kindness, wit, and culinary delights.
Services will be held at the Church of the Nativity, 7300 North Lantern Road Indianapolis, IN 46256, on Thursday, June 8. Viewing and visitation will be from 10-12, with funeral immediately following at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a contribution to Waycross Camp <www.waycrosscenter.org> in his name.
