James Robert Smith, 66, passed away on October 30, 2013. He will be missed.
James was a hard working family man who enjoyed life. He enlisted in the Army in 1964 and quickly rose to the rank of Captain during his time in the Vietnam War.
After his accomplishments in the service, James settled down with his wife Sharon and had two sons. He loved going to the movies with “His Boys”, his nieces and his nephews. James will always be remembered as a loving husband and a caring and doting father who relished providing for his family
James Robert Smith was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sharon Smith and son Warren Smith. He leaves to adore his memory: son, Marc Smith; sisters, Mary Armstrong and Joanne Bush; brother, Warren Smith; grandsons, Ellis and Jay Smith; aunt, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Dana Altemeyer says
Heartfelt sympathy to the entire Smith family. May you find comfort in family and friends during this difficult time. While I did not have the privilege of knowing Mr. James Smith, I know his son, Marc, well. My knowledge of Marc’s character, dedication, hard work, and family orientation, says that his father must have been a good man.
