
James “Jim” Walter Lamka, 68 0f Fishers, IN, passed away on May 5, 2016. He was born to Walter and Claire (Krecioch) Lamka on June 16, 1947, in Chicago, IL.
Jim served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1966 -1970. He later retired after many years as a Mechanical Engineer. He was an avid reader and a member of Friends of the Library. He was the proud “Paca” of his four grandchildren. He loved his country, and was a very patriotic man.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Claire Lamka, and survived by his Wife, Linda (Nolte) Lamka, daughters; Nicole (Scott) Magie and Jennifer (Ryan) Tyson, grandchildren; Cade, Cole, Brelyn, and Sierra, brother; Dennis (Jean) Lamka, and sister; Cindy Lamka.
Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
