Jack D. Combest, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 22, 2018. Jack was born on August 11, 1954 to Raymond “Jack” Combest and Edith Walker Combest. He was the only boy of several children.
Jack graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1972, where his military service is honored on their Veteran’s Memorial plaque. Jack served in the United States Army in the signal corp. He had 2 children; a daughter Christina and a son, Jason. Jack was an avid fisherman, golfer, and hunter. The two most important things in his life were family and friends, in which he had an abundance of both.
Jack is survived by his children, Christina and Jason; sisters Carole, Linda, Sharon, Patty, Peggy, and Betty, 3 grandsons, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack is preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Donnie.
Visitation will be from 10am – 12pm on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Service begins at noon. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

I will sure miss my patient and friend. He was such a sweet guy and always gave me a hug goodbye. I always felt so welcome in the home and enjoyed our visits on Sundays when I took his chemo down. His death has hit me so hard, I’ve even cried, yes nurses cry.
