
Jackie Dawn (Beeson) Gray died on April 26, 2014. She was born on March 25, 1935 in Mount Comfort, IN to John M. and Almeada Mae (Crosley) Beeson. Jackie married John E. Gray on June 6, 1951 and was happily married for 38 years.
Jackie loved her job working part-time at Lawrence Christian School. She was a member of Indianapolis First Church of the Nazarene and a former member of Oaklandon Christian Church.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband John, who died in 1989. Survivors include her son Harry E. Gray, Daughter-in-Law Susan M. Gray, sister Norma L. Lain and special friend Ray Straw.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday May 1, 2014 at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 3 – 7 p.m. Burial at Old Oaklandon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jackie’s name to Lawrence Christian School, 5450 Scout Road, Indianapolis, IN 46226

Jackie was quick to introduce herself to me after noticing a new face in the choir a few years ago. I was new to the choir, and new to the church, so it was really nice to meet her. She is someone I have looked forward to greeting each week since, a friendly and gentle soul. She will be missed!
