I have wonderful memories of my precious Aunt Ida. She lived across the street from us and she was our protector and friend when we were in trouble with mom and dad (which was a lot)! She will be greatly missed!

Mary will be missed by her special friend Betty Glidewell along with many others. Betty said both talked most every day by phone especially about basketball. They had been friends for 46 years. What great memories to have.

I was a member of the Berean Bible Class with Mary and Jim. Mary was a kind and loving woman. What I remember most about her was when she prayed. It was a personal conversation with God. Mary will be missed; she touched many lives.

Heaven has gained a godly woman. What I remember the most about Mary is her testimony she gave at Trinity Baptist Church. I had the opportunity to read it and I was truly blessed by it. Through all the trials and tribulations she remained faithful to our God. What a prayer warrior. Rest in peace Mary.

Mary and Jim were our dear friends. She has prayed for me many times. I was privileged to have her as a SS teacher in the early 60’s. A lovey lady.

Mary came into my life when I was 14. She was always so loving and caring. My life has certainly been blessed throughout the many years we were a part of the large Hilen family. Times spent with her and Jim will always be treasured memories in my heart.

Well said, Jen! Thank you for everything you did for grandma. You were her right and left hand woman. So proud of you for your dedication. She loved you so much. I wish I would have helped more. I love you. I know grandma loved you and all of us so much. Can’t believe she is gone. Like Brian said, she is back with her Jimmies now. I know she is happy and at peace now. Hugs to grandma!

What a true blessing if life Mary was to all that knew her. God has allowed us all to see how life should be lead by Mary’s example. Truly will be missed, but look forward in seeing you in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Lots of love – Thomas
