My deepest condolences to the Haynes family on the passing of our beloved Aunt Helen. She was always a trendsetter in style and pop culture. A fabulous cook, I remember her gifting me a copy of The Joy of Cooking when I moved off-campus at Ball State University. She and my Uncle Tom were instrumental in encouraging me to attend college away from home and achieve my dreams. She will live on in perpetuity with her famous “Aunt Helen’s Champagne Punch” which has become the family punch at holiday gatherings for decades. May God bless the family and I will always remember the good times.
