Hedy Manon Padgett, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016. She was born June 16, 1943 to Walter and Evelyn Padgett.

Hedy was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Methodist Hospital for 47 years when she retired in 2012. She was a founding member, past president, and current treasurer of the Circle City Aquarium Club. She loved life, music, her 400 tropical fish, her cat Izzy-Boyz, and her friends, neighbors, and coworkers.

She is survived by her uncle, Jim Grigdesby; nephews, Finley Jr. (Vinele) and Jeff Padgett; sister-in-law, MeiLing Padgett; cousins, Sharon (Bill) Frazer, and Vannessa (Steve) Smingler; good friends, Deb (Kenny) Townsend, Mary (Ken) Leslie, Joanie Jones, Thereasa (Chris) Eggerly, Robert (Jayme) Ramey III, Jen Dillon, Mike Matthews, Joe Fleckenstein, Monte Francis, Bill Flowers, Charlie Martin, Julie Short, Uldis Brikmanis, Wayne Reeves,  and Ed Funk; as well as fellow members of the North Eastwood Neighborhood Association, the Circle City Aquarium Club, and many other friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Evelyn Padgett; brother, Finley Padgett Sr.; Sister, Michelle Padgett; and aunt, Marceil Grigdesby.

The family wishes to thanks Kindred Bridgwater, IU Health CICC staff, and Dr. Andrew Greenspan for their excellent care of Hedy.
