Gloria Jean LeJeune, 70, of Alamo passed away on May 19, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 23, 1947 to Ivan and Elizabeth (Myers) Brown in Crawfordsville. She graduated from Waveland High School in 1965. She married Ralph LeJeune on July 10, 1965. She was an EMT for STAR Ambulance Service and Ripley Township Volunteer Fire Department. She also worked as a cashier for a time. She served as a Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts leader and she was a master crafter and collector of many many items.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years Ralph LeJeune; children Belinda (Rodney) High, Douglas (Melissa) LeJeune, Steve (Jody) LeJeune, and Gary (Jessica) LeJeune; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings Bob Brown, Pearl “Muggy” Churchill, Ivan (Sandy) Brown Jr, and David Brown; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ron Brown.
As hard as it was to let her go we know she is no longer in pain and she was greeted by the ones she loved.
A Funeral will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Freedom Baptist Church, 6223 West State Road 234, Waveland, IN. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
