
Gladys Lorraine Povlin, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 16,2016. She was born April 23, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Skyesville High School, Maryland, in 1961. On March 2, 1967 she married Larry.
Gladys enjoyed gardening, quilting, cooking, bible study, and time spent with her family.
Gladys is survived by her husband of 49 years, Larry; daughters, Dawn and Stacy; Son in law, Jeff; step daughter, Susie; step son, Michael; brother, Tom; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and her loved pets, Lucy and Barkley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Jones and Ursula Clipper.
Church services are 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Sunday, September 4, 2016. Immediately following regular church services, the Celebration of Life for Gladys Povlin will be from 11:30-3 p.m. at the Church by the Side of the Road, 10323 East County Road 100 South, Avon.
