Gladys D. Hartmann, 82, of Brownsburg, passed away April 4, 2014. She was born to Earl and Clara (Rolfsen) Gorden in Chicago, IL on April 26, 1931. She graduated from Wright College in Chicago and held positions in Human Resources and Medical Administration throughout her working career. She is survived by her husband Richard Hartmann, children Ted DuHack, Lehn DuHack, Michael & Susanne DuHack, Joseph DuHack, Chris & Colleen Horvath, Richard & Gail Hartmann, Cheryl & Al Conrad, Cindy Hartmann, Robert & Debbie Hartmann. She is also survived by her brother Earl Gorden, 23 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

She led a very active and involved life with the family at her center. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Brownsburg, a member of Eastern Star, a sorority member, a member of the Red Hats, involved with the American Legion, an active volunteer at church and enjoyed working in ceramics.

A private Memorial service will held at Messiah Lutheran Church on April 26, 2014. A visitation will be at 12:30 pm and service at 1:00 pm.
