Gerald “Mike” Michael Carlson, Age 65 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away August 28, 2016 at home after a brief battle with ALS. A Celebration of Life Service is pending and will be announced at a later date.

Mike was born on February 13, 1951 in Bay City, Michigan to Elaine Marie (Cook) and Howard Stephen Carlson. He was married to Kathy Jean (Kern) Carlson. He was the owner of Carlson Construction and attended Hope the Breakfast Church.

Survivors include his wife Kathy; two sons Jason (Angelique) of Kaiserslautern, Germany and DeWane of Indianapolis; two sisters Lorie Cook-Annunziata of Merrill, Wisconsin and Debbie (James) Struble of Gleason, Wisconsin; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Mark Allen Carlson.
