George Thomas Donelson, born 11.01.1951, passed peacefully after a courageous hard fought bout with cancer. He is survived by his partner of 22 years, Dr. Lonni Anne Gill;his siblings, Wendell (Barbara) Donelson, Linda (Glen) Shumacher, Patricia (Reverend Charles) Kleiser, Sharon (Frank) Delgado, Robert (Christine) Donelson; and his many adored nieces and nephews.
George was a longtime Indy resident where he founded and established his Longing for Life family counseling ministry. His introspective life’s work will culminate in a book to enable his “Georgie-ness” be shared with others.
George’s memorial celebration will take place on Saturday, April 1 at Common Ground Church at 46th and Illinois in Indianapolis. Doors open at 10:30 am, with his memorial beginning at 11:00 with lunch immediately following downstairs.
