George O. Nolan, 85, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away at home on April 25, 2018. He was born on October 17, 1932 in Logan County, West Virginia, the son of the late Jack and Flora Nolan (Jackson).
After leaving school he joined the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War as a MP. After the Army, He married Arlene Byrum in a double celebration with her sister and Kenny McCoullough on June 29, 1956. He loved his wife so much he remarried her on their 30th anniversary.
George was a bowler and loved to rebuild antique cars. He also loved his church family and was a greeter to welcome one and all to Grace Point Church of the Nazarene.
George is survived by his wife Arlene of Indianapolis, IN. George Jr. (Deb) of Nashville, TN. Greg (Joni) of Tupelo, MS. Ginger (Mark) Jacobs-Carter of Westfield, IN. 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by son Gary Nolan.
Funeral service will be at 3pm on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Grace Pointe Church of the Nazarene, 10951 E. County Road 100 S. Indianapolis, IN 46231. Visitation will be held from 1pm to 3pm. Pastor Tim Kellerman officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made in George’s name to Grace Pointe Church of the Nazarene.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of George. The passing away of a loved one is always with much sorrow.
