George Frank Kish, Sr., beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on October 4, 2013 at the age of 89. Born in Indianapolis, George attended St. Roch grade school, Manual High School and Purdue University and served in the U.S. Army. He practiced the plumbing trade for most of his adult career and was a dedicated parent to his five children. He was also a Scoutmaster and member of the Knights of Columbus. In retirement he enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, traveling the world, cooking, and helping others. George volunteered many hours at Primelife Enrichment in Carmel, cooking meals and making household repairs for the homebound. George is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty Kish; his five adult children: Ginny Garrett, Katie Neill, Evelyn Murphy; Frank Kish, Jr., and Suzy Kish; grandchildren Margo and Kevin Murphy; son-in-law, Charles Neill and daughter-in-law, Susan Chacin.
