
Gene Leroy Halverson, 78, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in Fishers, Indiana. Gene was born in Wisconsin to Leroy and Mary Halverson, the oldest of three children. After returning from serving with the Navy in Korea, his love of flying led him to earn his pilot’s license and degrees from Spartan School of Aeronautics. Gene went on to enjoy a long career as an aeronautical engineer, of which, he was very proud.
Gene is survived by his two children, son; Doug Halverson and daughter; Teri Flannery, from his first marriage to Betty Sue Conduff. He is also survived by his brothers; Thomas and William Halverson, nephew; Michael Halverson, niece; Kelcey Roshak.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of thirty-four years, Connie Rae.
