
Gene Dee Watson, 62, of Indianapolis, passed away November 9, 2016. He was born on August 5, 1954 to Van and Vola Watson in Celina Tennessee. He attended high school in Celina and South Putnam. He joined the Marines in 1974, spending much of that time working with the military police. He went on to become a truck driver. It was a career that he enjoyed for 30 years.
Gene married Debbie Stewart on October 10, 1980. They were married for 36 years at the time of his passing. He enjoyed drag racing, especially if he was involved in the driving, and dearly loved his cats Polly, Myrtle, and Blackie.
Gene is survived by his wife Debbie Watson; children Chris Watson and Nichole Kelly; grandchildren Brody, Lindy, Lisa, Devon, and Ryan; and his great-grandchildren Trent, Andrew, Madisyn, Jordan, and Hunter.
He was preceded in death by his parents Van Watson and Viola Watson; and sister Ryla Joe.

So sorry for your loss. Gene and are are second cousins. I spent some time together in Tennessee many years ago. I had often wondered how he was doing.
