
Gary “Mike” Ruble, 70, of Muncie, passed away on September 30, 2016. He was born on October 31, 1945 in Muncie to Charles and Opal Ruble. Mike graduated from Muncie Central High School. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Mike was a supervisor at Wertz Novelty for 23 years. After retiring, he loved spending time with his family, friends, and his car club, The Crown City Cruisers. Mike was also a member of the New Hope of the Nazarene Church.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Eloise; children, Barbara (Peter) Phillips, Gary (Peggy) Manis, and Shellie (Chad) Sewell; grandchildren, Tyler, Dustin, Taylor, Allen, Chloe, Ross, and Juliet; and great grandchildren, Alex, Gabby, Lexi, and Hayden. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
A Celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 8th at Liberty Baptist Church, 6101 S. Cowan Road, Muncie, IN 47302.
