Fred Ray Rittenberry Jr., 62, Indianapolis, IN sadly went to be with the angels above on October 27, 2015. He will be missed by his family very much. He lived his life the way he wanted, even though we tried to change his ways. He loved his beef sticks, Pepsi’s and cigarettes. I want to say he was always here for his children he left behind.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly; father, Fred Ray, Sr. (step-mother Earlene); his oldest child, Tracy Rittenberry (Jennifer), grandchildren, Hailee Ann, Samantha Raye, and Dustin William. His second, Christopher (Christine) Rittenberry, and grandchildren, Catelin Marie, Christopher Ray, Jr., and Joseph Francis. As most know, our niece Shelly passed away many years ago and we adopted her 2 children so Clarissa Renae as our third, and grandson Vincent Lee. Last is Joshua C (Jennifer) and grandchildren, Joshua Evelio and Cherish Jean; sisters; Rebecca and Sandra and many nieces and nephews. For those who also know, Raggy will miss him because he always gave him table food. We will all carry him in our hearts forever.
Fred loved all his children and grandchildren, each in a special way. If you were to ask one of them, they would say that they were his special one, LOL. Fred loved country music, poker, watching football and always supported the Colts and Nascar Racing, even yelling at the through the television.
Fred was a Tennessean by heart where he was born in Castalian Springs, Sumner County. He always let everyone know he was a ridge runner (I called him). He was born September 16, 1953 and left our sides peacefully on October 27, 2015. Go Rest my love.
In lieu of flowers please donate funds to Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory towards his services. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Love Bev
