So sorry to hear of the passing of my “cousin” Frannie. When I lived in Indy, we were always together. She would make me laugh. Frannie was always there to help you if you needed her. I haven’t seen Frannie for a couple of years, but never forgot her. John and Carole, I know how much you will miss your cousin. You were always there for her. God Bless you Frannie, and may you rest in peace.

Love, Kay Arlene & Lee Atkinson

Fran, I have missed seeing you in church. Wish I could have spoken with you while you were recovering from surgery. I know you missed your family so much. Now I know your reunited with them and I can vision your great smile again. I also know your warm and in a better place.

I heard of Frannie’s passing this morning. Today has been a day of great sadness because she is no longer with us but also one of great joy. Joy because she is now with her dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is also home with her mother, father and brother, Joe, who she missed very much. I have know Fran for almost 25 years. She started out as a customer of mine at Osco Drug and grew into my dear friend. I will treasure all of our times together. She wasn’t always the easiest person to be around. She often tested my patience to the max! But if you took the time to know her, you would have loved her as much as I did. She always remembered my birthday and my wedding anniversary. I feel like a tiny piece of my heart died today. She always referred to me as her best friend and would cry every time she said it. When we went shopping she loved to introduce me to people. I am glad to call her my friend. Some times in life you come across “difficult” people but if you show them love, they might not be as difficult as you think. You will be forever in my heart Frannie. I am not going to say goodbye. I am just going to say see you later! You will be missed and you will always be loved!
    Your best friend,
    Kris Nevitt

I managed the property Frannie lived at for about 4 years and knew just what a handful she could be. Kris said it perfect below when she stated “Some times in life you come across “difficult” people but if you show them love, they might not be as difficult as you think.” Frannie may come off as tough to some, but deep down, she had a big heart that always longed for her family.
She’d tell me stories of her past boyfriends, working at the drug store, and summers with her family. It’s ironic she passed during Lent, as she was so committed to this time of year, and would laugh with me as she’d admit her struggle with giving up sweets-be it her tin of cookies, or her York peppermint patties.
My little girl came to know Frannie over the years and adored her as well. She always asked why Frannie would cry when kissing her and saying good bye, and I’d explain that Frannie just loved her and didn’t like good byes, as she missed her own family so much.
While the news of her passing saddens me, I can’t help but be happy for her. Anyone who knew Frannie was aware of the love she had for her Mother, Father and Brother Jon, and how she wanted nothing more than to be with them again. Just knowing that last week she was able to have that reunion makes me smile through the tears. Love you Frannie-see you again one day.

I didn’t really know Fran that long…I would see her in Church and also at the Beauty Shop…She had a lovely smile and a warmth that she kept hidden until she got to know you a little better.
I am happy that she is not suffering any longer and is at peace with the Good Lord.
She brightened my life…even if for a short time…May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace…amen.

I will always remember Fran in the back row at 5:00 mass and how we used to talk before and after Church when I was an usher. She was so proud of her family and spoke often of them. I feel blessed to have come into contact with her and glad she was a part of my life. Rest In Peace Frannie.

Franny I will so miss you my good friend. I am going to miss seeing you and talking to you. I am so glad that we were friends for all those years and yes you could be difficult but that was just you and if you hadn’t been difficult I probably wouldn’t have met you. You are now at peace and with your savior and finally reunited with your mother, father and brother that you so dearly missed. I’m sad that I didn’t get to say a last goodbye. You will always be in my thoughts Franny George. Peace be with you.
    Love you,
    Becky
