Evelyn Jane Bevers, 87, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully the morning of May 31, 2019 in her home. She was born on June 16, 1931 to Arthur and Baltia Larkin in Eubank, KY.  Evelyn was preceded in death by her mother and father, her daughter, Donna Lynn, her brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Roselyn, her sister and brother-in-law Zelpha and Sam Hughes, and her brother, Lavon. Evelyn is survived by her brothers Jeffrey (Freida), Arless (Linda), and Charles (Sandy). She is also survived by her sisters, Sylvilene, (Leon) Haltom and Gloria (Leon) Odendahl.  Evelyn is also survived by her children, Sheila Candler, Larry (Shirley) Bevers, Pam Fishbaugh, Patrick Warren (Pamela) Bevers, Brenda Patterson, Brian (Mary) Bevers, Geri Quinn, and Clara (Paul) Crosby. Evelyn has 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Evelyn retired from Hooks Drugs where she won many awards.

More than anything Evelyn loved spending time with her family. She looked forward to the Larkin family reunion every August, planning months in advance the dish she would take. She loved telling stories, crafting, sewing, and sending thoughtful cards. She loved birds and butterflies and loved dressing up in her classy attire. She was always kind and thoughtful. We are blessed to have had her as a mom, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Rest is peace momma.

A private family viewing will be from 10:30 to 11:30, a public viewing from 11:30 to 1:30 followed by a Celebration of her Life.  Service will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Indiana Funeral Care, 2433 E. Main Street, Greenwood, IN 46143
