Ellen C Lyons-Gremling, 69, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away October 30^th, from Lewy Body disease. Funeral services will be held at 10am, Friday, November 4^th, 2016 at Indiana Funeral Care at 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN. Visitation will be held from 9am to 10am. Ms. Ellen C Lyons-Gremling was born January 2^nd, 1947 in Indianapolis.

Ellen worked for the Dayton (OH) and Indianapolis Police Departments., as well as, for the periodicals, The Jewish Post and Opinion and The Criterion. She was also an avid reader, writer and political activist. Ellen enjoyed spending time with her family, visiting the canal at Holcomb Gardens, and cheering The Chicago Cubs to victory.

Ellen was preceded in death by her mother Catherine Lyons (Kennington), father John Lyons, and brothers John and Charles Lyons.

Survivors include her daughter Genevieve Springer (Clay), son David Gremling, brothers Tom and Bob Lyons, and ex-husband Thomas Gremling.
