Edith L. Sisson, age 75, Indianapolis, passed on to her eternal home on March 9, 2018, at Methodist Hospital, surrounded by her family. Her death was due to complications from an automobile accident the day before.
Born October 26, 1942, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Frederick and Lucille Rozzi Moore.
Edith attended St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School and was a 1960 graduate of Logansport High School. On May 7, 1975, she married Paul R. Sisson. She loved to read and collect cookbooks. No one ever left her home hungry as she loved to cook for others. She was a member of Christ Our Shepherd Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by her daughter, Heidi Sisson; daughter-in-law. Elizabeth Sisson; grandson, Paul Roy Sisson; brother, Michael F. (Nancy) Moore, Lucerne, IN, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sisson; a son, TJ Sisson; sisters, Sue Rombold, Carolyn Moore; brother, Sam Moore; nephew, Eric Rombold, and her parents.
Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, April 7, at Christ Our Shepherd Church of the Brethren in Indianapolis, Indiana, at 11 am with Pastor Wayne Grumbling officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Ministry at Christ Our Shepherd Church of the Brethren, 857 N State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46142-1314.
