Douglas Charles Keister, 66, passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2016 in Greenfield, Indiana. He was born in Akron, Ohio.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Morton Keister and Ellen Elizabeth Miller Keister; and brother, David Morton Keister.
Doug is survived by his children, Andrew Morrow Keister (Rachel Daugherty) and Corrinne Elizabeth Keister; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Bradley United Methodist Church, 210 W. Main St., Greenfield, Indiana; a memorial service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Fairbanks, 8102 Clearvista Pkwy, Indianapolis, IN 46256.

My name is Dale Thompson and I worked with Doug at New Castle State Hospital in the 1970’s…I lost contact with Doug when I moved to California in 1982. I was shocked and saddened to hear about his passing only today! If you feel comfortable I would very much love to know more info about his passing…
