Donald F. Rhea – Born on August 5, 1951 and passed on May 25, 2018 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He left behind, to cherish his memory, his wife of 37 years, Marietta (Stubits), daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Douglas, sons, Donald and Jack, sister, Sharon Bishop, best friend and brother from another mother, Todd Hardy and four granddogs.
Don worked in the retail music business for 30 years and eventually moved on to landscaping and home improvements. He always had a vision and would make it play out. This was his art and it gave him such a fulfillment of creativity and a job well done. Don eventually moved on to become an agent of the Indianapolis Star, distributing daily newspapers. A job that wore out it’s welcome and the reason he was able to retire at the age of 62.
Don loved to play golf and was a fierce fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Don also loved a great party and hosted many of them over the years. He will be missed and remembered by all of those whose lives he touched.
Don’s family is grateful for the care we received through St. Vincent’s Hospice. A special thank you to his nurse, Chelsea P. for her gentle, firm and no nonsense care and love we felt from her.
A celebration of his life will be held on June 30, 2018 from 2pm-5pm at Garden Walk Clubhouse off of 56th St. and Binford Blvd. 46220. Please reach out with any inquiries to jrhea9181@yahoo.com.

I was so very sorry to hear about Don’s passing, he was my first DM when I worked at the Peaches on Colerain Ave in Cincy, he always had a big smile on his face but man he would give you heck if something wasn’t done right! I know he will be missed by all of us that were lucky enough to have known him!
