
Donald Edgar Ingle, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away March 7, 2016.
He was born June 25, 1940 to Samuel and Virginia Ingle.
Don is survived by his son, Lonnie (Tracie) Ingle; Grandchildren, Rachel and Lindsey Ingle; brother, David Ingle; and beloved dog, Baby. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Ingle; parents; brother, Robert Ingle; and sister, Diana Ingle.
Don graduated from Howe High school, and went on to do one tour of duty in the United States Navy. He and Hilda, who lovingly called him Skippy, married on April 4, 1970, and soon added their son, Lonnie, to their family. He worked for Navistar for many years, retiring in 1999. Don was a member of Franklin Central Christian church. He had a passion for motorcycles and animals, especially his dog companion, Baby.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a service to follow at 6, on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis, Indiana.

Don was a gentle and faithful soul, and we will surely miss him at church. Our hearts go out to Dave and Nancy, and the entire Ingle family, for his sudden passing. It is by the Grace of God that any of us inhabit our precious jars of clay.
