Donald E. Fry, 80, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday September 11, 2016 surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born April 24, 1936 in Indianapolis to Julia Caldwell and Chester R. Fry. He married the love of his life, Martha Smith, on January 15, 1961.

He graduated Anderson High School in 1955. Don proudly served in the Marines from September 1955 to 1959. He retired from Delco Remy Anderson in 1991.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Martha; daughter, Dawn Fry; son, Mike (Sherry) Fry; grandson, Logan (Mae) Fry; granddaughter, Kristina Pryor Fry; great grandchildren, Willow, Klaus, Carter, and Hailey; brother, Gary (Joyce); dogs, Cotton and Sissy; and several nieces, nephews, and adopted grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jim Bowen and sister, Jeannette Fitzgerald.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 17 at Willow Branch United Methodist Church, 6244 N Thomas Road, Willow Branch, IN 46186, officiated by Glen Davis.
