Diana Lynn Purcell (Petro), 64, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2018 while surrounded by her wonderful family. She was born August 16, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She was married to her wonderful husband, Charles, for 42 years.

Diana was a very loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Aunt.  She will be greatly missed by those who loved her dearly.  We were fortunate to have had her in our lives as long as we did.  She enjoyed her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and family.  She would take a “lucky $20” any day of the week.  If you asked her if she was “wearing that”, she would always say YES.  That was our saying for asking each other if we were going to the casino.  She loved to go to the casino or bingo with her family.

She worked for Federal Express for 25 years where she encountered many co-workers.  She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church.

She is survived by Charles Purcell, husband; 2 children- Christina Darrington (Purcell), Daughter; Christopher Purcell, Son; 3 Grandchildren- Cassandra Purcell, Granddaughter; Demetrius Purcell, Grandson; Mariah Purcell, Granddaughter; 2 Great Grandchildren-Aaliyah Purcell, Great Granddaughter; Shawn Purcell, Great Grandson; and 5 Nephews and 2 Nieces-John (Jody) Petro, Nephew; Kevin Petro, Nephew; Robert Petro Jr, Nephew; Kimberly Petro, Niece; Stephen Petro, Nephew; Teresa (Jason) Feedback (Petro); Niece; Michael Petro, Nephew.

She was preceded in death by Ivan Petro, Father; Barbara Petro (Mathewson), Mother; 5 siblings-Ronald Petro, Brother; D. Michael Petro, Brother; Robert Petro Sr, Brother; Mark Petro, Brother; Richard Petro, Brother; Ronnie Petro, Nephew.

She will be cremated.  There will be a celebration of life later to be determined.
