She would appreciate support for the Hamilton Humane Society. Her dog and last two cats came from there and she often sent large quantities of food to them the through PetsSmart. To those who knew and loved her, I offer the quote from Ecclesiastes – To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the
heaven….a time to mourn and a time to dance… This is our time to mourn.

Doug and family – I worked for the City and knew Diana before she was elected Clerk-Treasurer. I retired from the Street Department but worked for her during her last year in office. I thoroughly enjoyed her. My mother also worked for the city, and when she became ill Diana was very kind to her, bringing her flowers to her home, and I will never forget that. I am so sorry for your loss.

I very much enjoyed working with Diana at Carmel. She was a wealth of information and a great rudder for me on Council. One of the classiest women I have ever met, and a great friend.

    Doug and family,
I had known Diana for the last 14 years by working for Kessler Communications and have always enjoyed talking with her about her beloved cats, among many other things. May fond memories of her bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.

I enjoyed working with Diana as a fellow Clerk-Treasurer. She was always well-informed and knowledgeable about every facet of her job. I also knew her through the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns where she was regarded as a level-headed thinker with positive ideas. She was a leader in every organization she touched. I extend my sincere sympathy to her family, but please know that those of us in the Clerk-Treasurer family feel a deep sense of loss, also.

Diana was a friend and mentor to me when I was elected to the Hamilton County County Council. We shared our love of animals and love of good conservative government. We shared great couple memories when she was married to Bill Cordray. Art and I send our deepest condolences to her family. She was a very special woman.

Diana was a good friend and a dedicated public servant to the citizens of Carmel and beyond. I had the privilege of knowing her for more than 20 years and serving with her for 12. Carmel has never had an individual more dedicated to serving the best interests of its citizens and vigilant in protecting their future. she is sorely missed in that role and missed by all of us for her kind and caring nature.

Dear Doug, Jennifer, Bill and all of Diana’s family,
Our sincere condolences to you all. I was your Mom’s neighbor between 1993 and 1998 on St. Charles Court in Carmel. Diana and Bill were wonderful neighbors and friends; and, I kept in touch with Diana throughout her 20 year term as Carmel’s Clerk Treasurer (through the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns). Her passing comes as a complete surprise; and, our thoughts and prayers are with Diana, her family and friends. She was passionate about her public service and will be dearly missed.

    Doug and Family,

I knew Diana from my work with Kessler Communications and more recently by assisting her as needed with her computer issues. She was a strong woman and always very kind. Her service to the community as well as those around her was unmatched. She will be missed. I pray that even though you may be saddened by her loss that God strengthens and renews you through this time. I will always hold your family in high esteem.
