Dennis K. Aldrich, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away April 1, 2017. He was born March 7, 1952 to George W. and M. Kathryn (Kay) Aldrich, in Indianapolis.
Dennis graduated from Southport High School in 1970. While attending High School, he helped run and operate the family business, Aldrich Milk Sales, for most of the 70’s. He then began his career in Hotel Management, until retirement.
He lived in various places over the years: Oklahoma, Ohio, Florida and Alabama. He had been “back home again in Indiana” for the last couple of years.
He was a sentimental man, with a soft heart; full of love and compassion for his family and friends. He had a quirky sense of humor, a great smile and an infectious laugh, and, of course, and amazing memory for dates!
Left to cherish his memory are his three children: Shauna White (husband, Randy), Emily McDougal (husband, Gray), Evan (wife, Megan); and his five grandchildren: Allison, Carson, Madison, Jack and Morgan, all of whom live in Arizona; his brother, Kenneth G. Aldrich, who moved to Cuernavaca, Mexico, with his partner Hector Gonzalez; and his Uncle Thomas and Aunt Shirley Aldrich, who live in Savannah, GA; as well as, a niece, cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Kay Aldrich.
To honor his request, there will not be a funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please make any donation in his memory, to St. Vincent de Paul (www.stvincentdepaul.net). Online condolences may be made at www.indianafuneralcare.com.
Luke 23:43 And He said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise”.
