David Robert Pein
David Robert Pein, age 58 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away May 9, 2014 at I.U. Hospital North. He was born on March 23, 1956. He attended St. Ann grade school, Ben Davis High school, and Purdue University. David was a talented interior and floral designer.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Rosie Pein. He is survived by his sister Linda Canull, 3 nephews, 2 nieces and their families. There will be a private family memorial held at a later date.

Dave and I went back a long ways – beginning with our days at Max & Erma’s. We lost touch when I moved to San Diego, but reconnected a few times over the past 2 years. A lot of fun conversations reminiscing…and getting current.
Dave was special – with that infectious laugh. I am so sorry to hear he passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of David. I met him when I moved to Indy in 98, we quickly became friends over our love for dogs and decorating. We lost touch over the years but on rare occasions, he would call and have me laughing the whole time.
