
David Elton St. Pierre, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 23, 2015. He was born on September 6, 1928 to Robert and Madeline St. Pierre in Indianapolis. He attended the Jordan Conservatory of Music and Northwestern University, and was awarded a scholarship to attend Herron School of Art. Throughout his life, Dave has dabbled in many professions, including bar manager in Providence, RI, vocalist, artist, funeral director, and most recently the “dog whisperer” at Good Dog Hotel & Spa. He was an Air Force medic in the Korean War. Dave is survived by his nieces and nephew, Betty Paparone, Michael St. Pierre, Linda Murphy, and Madeline Day; and many great nieces and nephews and an abundance of friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Jeanne Macy and Shirley Rankin; brothers, Robert St. Pierre; nephew, Steve St. Pierre; grandparents, Frank B. Flanner and Annie Lou Johnston-Flanner, Charles and Alice Ross Lockwood.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Union Chapel Cemetery in Indianapolis. Donations can be made in Dave’s name to the Humane Society of Indianapolis, 7929 N. Michigan Road, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
