On September 15, 2018, David “Budd” Wayne Brungard, fiancé and proud father of four, passed away at the age of 56.
Budd was born on May 7, 1962 to father, Charles II and mother, Mary (Newton). Budd’s father passed when he was just a boy, and at age 16 he moved in with his best and lifelong friend, Doug Bocock. After graduating from Martinsville High School he had two children, David (or “Buddy”) and Richard, in his first marriage and twins, Dawn and Brandon, in his second.
Budd spent over twenty years designing and fabricating signs, but could also fix just about anything. He was the family handyman. He loved Florida, Nascar, his cat Rere, coaching baseball, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He was “grandpa” to many, and loved more than anything to make you laugh and smile.
Budd was preceded in death by his father, Charles II, his mother, Mary, and his siblings, Charles III and Sandra. He is survived by his fiancé, Lisa, four children, Buddy, Richard, Dawn, and Brandon, and brothers, James and Karl.
A Memorial Service will be held at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel, 2433 E. Main St Greenwood, IN 46143 on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 2:00pm, where family and friends are invited to share stories and memories of Budd. Visitation prior to service from 12:00pm – 2pm
Following, there will be a celebration of his life from 3:00pm – 5:30 at O’Reily’s Irish Bar & Restaurant at 8923 S Meridian St Indianapolis, IN 46217.
