Though I did not know Dan, I know his brother Andy and his wife from school. Knowing of their love for family, I can only imagine the hole in their hearts left by the passing of one so young. Praying for the entire Laker family and their peace and healing from this painful loss.
Best regards to all.

Dear Uncle Tony, Paula, and all of my wonderful Laker Cousins,
My heart is sad at the news of Danny’s passing. He was a wonderful cousin with a gentle heart. I will always remember our times together as kids…as cousins. I love you all and will pray for peace to be yours.
Sincerely,
Robin Ellenbecker

Dan and I become close buddy’s back in the 70’s while selling Icy Hot … we both ran hard, worked hard and shared many, many fun times together. I remember his old white hot rod camaro… he loved that car and he always drove it like he stole it! In the early 80’s I moved to Minneapolis St.Paul…and we lost touch. I have and always will remember our escapades… Lake was a true friend and I always knew I could count on him to cover my back in tough situations.. and he always knew I had his back as well. RIP Laker… I’ll see you down the road!
