
Cora (Anderson) Justice, 80, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016, at Kindred Care surrounded by her family. She was born October 3, 1935, in Monticello, KY, to the late D. Sherman and Martha Ann (Simpson) Anderson, moving to Indiana as a teen. Cora worked in the food service industry all of her life. She worked for many years as a server and cook, retiring from the Whistlestop Inn in Indianapolis, where she was well known by many for her home cooking. She enjoyed reading, walking and spending time with family.
She is survived by children, Henri (Jenny) Hoffman of Greenfield, and Joe “Skip” (Corrie) Hancock of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Summer, Kayleigh, Melissa, Joey and Desiree; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Cora was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Hoffman, sons, Morris “Moe” Thompson and Scott Hoffman, sisters, Ruth, Jean, Josephine, Lena and Alta, brother, Henry and great-grandson Chrystjan.
