
Constance Norman passed away December 25, 2015 at the age of 86. She was born November 23, 1929 the second of two children, to Otto Friedrich Christoph Prim and Lola Genevieve King. Constance married Lauren Roy Norman on July 23, 1955, and they had three children: Lynne Hurley (Howard), Scott (Jana), and Lisa Laughlin (Andrew). She is survived by them and fourteen grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren, and her older sister, Barbara Prim.
In her youth, Connie enjoyed many activities, camping, swimming, and Girl Scouts. She spent summers as a life guard, and being a camp counselor for Girl Scout Camp. She also spent a summer waitressing at Loon Lake to save money. She spent a year in California going to school, and living with her Aunt Marjorie and Uncle Jack. When it was time for college, she chose IU and majored in Spanish. After graduating, she worked as a legal secretary for several years. Eventually she became a wonderful homemaker and mother.
Connie had a wonderful sense of humor, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, laughing and joking around with them, who were a source of great pride and great laughter.
A memorial service will be held in her honor Wednesday, December 30, at 11:00 a.m., at Ascension Lutheran Church, 602 S 9TH Ave., Beech Grove, IN.
