
Cliff A. Leverett, 85, Noblesville, IN passed away May 7, 2017 at home surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Leverett; daughter, Sheila (Roy); sons, Dale (Marcia) and Robert; sisters, Dorothy Thurmond and Jana McGlocklin; brother, Sam Leverett; grandchildren, Chelsea Taylor (Ben), Clayton Leverett (fiancé, Mary Chang); great grandchild, Coda Rust Taylor; and many extended family, in laws, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ayriel and Eunice Leverett; brother, L C Leverett (Texas); and sisters, Marie Lindsey and Helen Ford.
Cliff joined the United States Army and served for 3 years during the Korean Conflict in Germany.
Cliff worked in the telephone industry at Indiana Bell for 30 years before retiring and then went on to work in the same industry at St. Vincent Hospital for another 14 years and was known to everyone as “Cliff the telephone man”.
He was an active member of Noblesville First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed sports for many years and LOVED horse racing.
There will be a Celebration of Life later in July 2017.
