Cheryl Ann Kincaid, 71 of Walton, IN passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8th 2017 after a long illness.
Cheryl was born January 19, 1946 in Muncie, IN to Curtis and Grace Westfall. On February 21, 1976 she married Jon Kincaid and she had a daughter, Julie (Gregg) Burian (Portage, IN) and two sons Mike (Bobi) Baker (Plymouth, IN) and James Kincaid of Walton, IN.
Cheryl is survived by one brother, Andy Westfall of Muncie, IN. Cheryl also had 6 grandchildren, Blayne, Tyler, Carly Baker of Plymouth, Stephanie Kearney of Valparaiso and Scott Burian of Portage, and Jacob Kincaid of Walton with 2 great grandchildren Bo Stephenson and Noah Kearney.
Cheryl lived in Wilmington, NC until 1965 and moved to Walkerton, IN until 1980 when she moved to Walton until present. She worked at the Walkerton nursing home, pizza place and a clerical office position in Walkerton. She enjoyed reading, nature, wildlife, camping and both knitting and crochet.
The family would sincerely like to thank the Great Lakes Caring Hospice staff for all of their care and excellent support.
Per Cheryl’s request, there will be no visitation or burial. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Greatlakescaring.com or the charity of your choice in her name.
